I am looking for someone skilled in the arts of knitting. I have a sweater I want to commission but it has a fairly complex design through it and I'm going to be rather anal about the accuracy on it. Since it's a gift I'm looking for a high end job on it. I can show plenty of pictures of what I'm looking for and probably be able to make a pattern for it, a lay out for sure. Just something that would take a lot of time I currently don't have... not to mention I've never knitted and it's an expert project, ha.


Side note; have been drawing quite a bit, though things are changing and the second series I think will end with the piece I'm currently doing. Lots happening...

So a lot of my current focus is on my "new" truck, a 1956 Ford F-600. Right now I'm working on doing a chassis swap with a '78 or older 4x4 setup. 4x4s weren't factory 53 years ago, and an f-600 chassis weighs about 2,000#s more than the standard f-100 chassis. *suddenly realizes most people here aren't gear heads so I shouldn't get as technical as I was about to, ha* Simply put I need it to be a daily driver, one I can use in the winter too. That idea seems to upset a lot of concour people, but dents I can hammer out, and a blacksmith artist should be pulling up in style not just a truck.

Also been drawing. Sorta have the flu, sorta don't. I basicly am fine till I want to work, which sucks. Right now I have four drawings that make one drawing, including Emma Watson (Hermione), Kate Beckinsale, Paully Perrette (Abby) and Rachael Leah Cook (Alice). It's not perfect and not as photo realistic as some of my work, but I'm happy with the ideal. It's very, very difficult to take four completely different photos and make them look like they're taken at the same time. From finding the expression you want that will fit in the way everyone else is, to camera angle, lighting and everything else. If I made it perfect it probably take as long as my truck, ha.

Also about to start another one of Kate Beckinsale (yes there is a reason she pops up so much in my gallery, and it's not lust, lol), which will be a pretty big piece at around 2x4 feet... I was going to go even larger, but I have other things to do, lol.

Also at least 5 drawings on the way, 4 of them are 4 pieces to the same drawing, so that should hopefully turn out as well as I'd like, lol.

I've been beyond busy for some time now, but since I haven't posted anything here in almost three months I suppose it's time for an update.

The final drawing of the series, the 25th, has been finished for a while, but I won't be posting it. Sorry. I want to keep that one to myself


Finally able to do a lot more forging that I have wanted to for ages. I am currently working on a hand and a half sword that is coming out brilliantly. All my work is fully functional, no wall hangers, and Granger will not be an exception

Thought about inscribing on it in Elvish, for I really enjoyed LotR's and it's a very pretty language, but that's proving to be annoyingly difficult as it turns out it is actually a real language people have made. So translations are difficult, I suppose I could go willy nilly on it, so very few would actually be able to tell what language it was let alone if it was right or not, but that's not my style. It's either correct or it doesn't happen.

I will post pictures of that when it's done.

Also sometime this month I will finally bring home my '56 Ford pickup and get to work on her. But now more than anything I want to forge
